First clinical application of the Rad-Companion Thorax AI in MVZ Uhlenbrock & Partner, Germany.

I am very proud to inform you, that we have started with the first worldwide real clinical application of the Rad-Companion Thorax AI! It is a fruitfull collaboration oft he MVZ Uhlenbrock & Partner, the LUKAS-Gesellschaft and Siemens Healthineers to show the impact and performance of a powerfull AI-System in modern medicine. Therefore we are serving the 3 hosptitals St.Josefs-Hospital Dortmund H?rde, Katholisches-Krankenhaus Dortmund West and St.Rochus-Hospital Castrop-Rauxel with a total of 760 beds and more than 32000 Outpatients / year with state-of-the Art Imaging.

We are the first group to give the doctor on duty the full AI-support 24/7! So, the colleagues of the Departments of Surgery, Internal Medicin, Orthopaedics, Anaesthesiology / Intensiv Care, Urology and Gynecology will get an AI -Evaluation of the prepared Thorax within 5 Minutes and are enabled to focus more on their specific subjects and challenges in the Night- and Weekend shifts!

The ?Big 5“ are detected. All images are pseudo anonymized. All images are reevaluated/discussed and shown in our daily conferences.

This project will show the real impact of AI in ordert o minimize voaltile errors / missed diagosis or misinterpretation. Also it will relieve the doctor on duty!
