First Class

Life was never promised to be easy for us. And as we all know, it is filled with its ups and downs, twists and turns, roadblocks, obstacles, and hurdles. But sometimes, we make things harder for ourselves, even when we don't need to. It’s time to make better choices. It’s time for your upgrade.

In his book The Big Leap, ?Gay Hendricks details how we can overcome fears and self-doubts to reach our full potential. The truth is that most of us do not reach this level of our existence. Instead, we live a “business-as-usual” existence that many of us dread. This is nicely characterized as the Upper Limit Problem.

To reach our Zone of Genius, we must not only accept the possibility and reflect on the subconscious limits we place on ourselves, but we must also look to partner with others who will help hold us accountable to that next level. Who might that someone be for you?

You see, the ultra-successful have a secret that we don't often hear about: they all have coaches. They have someone who helps to harness their talent and partner with them towards their next level or to sustain greatness. That individual who will tell them “no,” challenge their thoughts, and make them feel uncomfortable.
