USGA: Selects Chicago Golf Club, in Wheaton, Illinois, to host the 2033 U.S. Women’s Open and 2036 Walker Cup Match. The historic club has previously hosted 12 USGA championships, most recently the inaugural U.S. Senior Women’s Open in 2018. ... NBC Sports: Names Rick Cordella?as president, programming for NBC Sports and Peacock Sports. Cordella, who rejoins NBC Sports after three years on Peacock’s executive leadership team, will lead NBC Sports’ programming strategy. Also, Tom Knapp has been named executive vice president, golf. Knapp will focus on the overall golf business and portfolio, overseeing NBC Sports’ relationships with all stakeholders in the golf industry.
