As a child my dream was to become an astronaut. On Nov,19th of 1996, at the age of 12 yr, I received the best birthday present, my first PC. It was the greatest Compaq Presario 4122 Desktop (150 MHz Intel Pentium 8 MB RAM 2.4 GB HD with Windows 95). And that was how I started my journey in what was called "informatics" and today is called "digital". I started programming in HTML and Java Script and one of my first websites was called www.pacanilo.cjb.net and it was hosted at geocities.com.

In 2000 I started my graduation at UNICAMP as a Data Process Technician, programming in Pascal, C++, Java and Visual Basic. In 2001 I joined IBM at Hortolandia/SP offices in the overnight shift, from 12pm until 8am, programming mainframes located at Fishkill/NY and Burlington/VT. In 2005 I spent over 6 months in NY working as a Web Developer for ICOM Tech Services and HITman Services. In 2007 I graduated from UNIFEI as an Engineer in Robotics (Control and Automation).

I never worked as an Engineer and neither studied marketing.

Right after college I joined Procter&Gamble and all my career was at "Tradicional Marketing" in other big FMCG companies such as L'Oréal, Avon, Danone, 3Cora??es and ADM. For me Marketing has been always about business performance and reducing the cost of profit growth, BUT although I have learned a lot in those giant companies I always felt like working in the "past", dealing with many unpleasant situations, corporate politics and spending 80% of my time in bullshitting (e-mails/power points/meetings). I was stucked in those "golden handcuffs" and far away from my child dream.

What the FU*K is DISTЯITO? It`s simple. DISTЯITO is the future. Is it the new competition for NASA and SpaceX? Maybe. The only certainty that I have is that tomorrow DISTЯITO will not be the same as today. And this is magic. At DISTЯITO I can finally become the astronaut of the future, exploring new galaxies of technology and the infinity of the digital universe.

On past May 19th, in the middle of the world biggest modern history crisis, serendipity happened and I was introduced to Gustavo Araújo and Gustavo Gierun. 30 days ago those 2 crazy Gustavo`s were bold enough to invite this "old school" marketeer to join the DISTЯITO team of disruption wizards. Yes... that is right We Я Disruption Wizards.

I had already the pleasure of virtually meet the biggest part of those DISTЯITO wizards and one of my biggest believes in life have never been so strong in my heart. It`s not about the company, it is not about the brand, it is not about the money, it is not about the title... it is not even about the "why" (sorry Simon...). It is ALL ABOUT PEOPLE. Starts with the "WHO". Who are you with... who are the ones you are serving... who are the ones you invest your precious hours of intellectual capital.

And about the first 30 days... all perfect? No. Very easy and happy. No. So you found the company of your dreams and you will stay there forever? Definitively not. BUT I found WHO I want to work with... and I found WHO I want to serve. There is no way back. I will work with those wizards that are living in the future and investing their amazing intellectual capital to transform the world into a better place thru disruptive ideas and technologies. Now it is easy to connect the dots. See you in the future!

p.s.: Just out of curiosity... the meaning of the name "Gustavo" is "protected by God" and the meaning of my name is "God is my judge". Maybe this God has something to do with that "serendipity" in the middle of this pandemic chaos.
