The First 30 Days Decide Your Success

The first 30 days of your health and fitness journey are where most guys make or break it. Here’s why:

We, as men, tend to focus on the end goal rather than the journey. We assume that if we grind long enough, everything will magically fall into place. I know you are reading this nodding your head.

But the reality is, the guys who do well aren’t the ones pushing themselves to extremes or chasing quick wins. It all comes down to one thing:

ACTION.

Not over-the-top action—just small, consistent steps. The unsexy stuff like planning meals, hitting your steps, and asking for help when you need it.

It’s funny—I saw the word “action” the other day and realized it literally has the word “ACT” in it. How have I never noticed that before?

Here’s What Happens in the First 30 Days

The guys who succeed focus on the basics:

  • They take time to plan their meals.
  • They hit their steps daily.
  • They ask questions, get feedback, and adjust.

Meanwhile, social media or the guy in the office might tell you to do more—train 6 days a week, cut carbs, do 12,000 steps daily. It sounds impressive, but it’s not sustainable.

You Have Two Options:

1?? The Standard Fitness Way

  • 12k steps every day
  • Train 5-6 days per week
  • Strict meal plans that are impossible to stick to
  • Lose 10lbs in a month but feel more tired every week.

2?? The 3-5-2 Method (My Way)

  • 3 hours of exercise per week
  • Lose 5lbs per month
  • Double your energy and enjoy your weekends.

A Real-Life Example

One of the guys on my program recently messaged me. He went from a 38” waist to a 34” and told me he’d smashed all his sessions by Thursday.

You know what he was most excited about? The weekend. He had it planned with his family, guilt-free, because the work was already done.

That’s the whole point: ? Get the work done. ? Still have a life. ? Enjoy the journey.

Here’s the Truth

The first 30 days of action will set the tone for everything that follows. Forget the flashy routines and focus on what actually works.

If you’re tired of the “burnout approach” and want to drop weight while doubling your energy and keeping your time to be planned by you?

Ask yourself this question; Is the thing I'm doing right now actually sustainable or have the past attempts I tried been sustainable?

If not then there might be a different way… and it might add up to 10.? (3,5,2)
