The First 24 Hours: Day 13 — Bajrang Dal Ft. Valentine’s Day!

Ouch, it’s Valentine’s Day!
Every year I wait for this day because of the different kinds of reactions and people I’ll get to meet are always very entertaining for me.
First comes the category of people who are faithfully following all the pre and post Valentine’s Day formalities more seriously than a couple follows the instructions of a pandit and a cameraman at their own wedding!
Second, are the people who are way too lazy to care about this day. Like their life and their contribution towards it, this day just exists! (Sorry, if that hurt you xD)
And third are my all-time favorite, the “Bajrang Dal” people! They have an excellent amount of energy, motivation and a rulebook where none of the rules makes sense.
Unluckily, every year I get to meet at least one person from this group who attempts to motivate me to join them for the sake of humanity. I repeat, “Humanity”. Ironically, they are “saving” humanity by threatening people all around and sometimes by also being violent.
Out of curiosity(and khurafaat dimaag), I researched some of these people and found that many of them have sung “Aashiq Banaya Aapne” at one point or another in their life, which means they were unable to either get or sustain(not the right word though) their partners. Though this observation is completely personal and I generally used it for fun purposes until one of my friends from Delhi narrated the harmful and violent actions of Bajrang Dal in her city today.
These incidents are insane. I strongly want people to realize that if you’re single, it’s good(sab anyway Moh Maaya hai xD), if you’re looking for someone(which happens majority of the time), it’s still better and if you’re committed, it’s always best but in no way you could(and should) have got the right to hinder the other person’s privacy and choices under any circumstances.
And to all the “Bajrang Dal” people, if you chose to stay with your gang and keep conducting rallies for anti valentine’s day, it’s perfect because it’s your choice but make sure not to harm anyone and do not take it too seriously because you never know when the tables will turn and you will be the one escaping from your own Bajrang Dal!
So, for Love, Peace and “Humanity”, Jiyo, aur Jeene Do!
