Fa?ade Cavity Protection System designer retrospectively fitted protection for existing Fa?ade provisions. THE ONE SOLUTION TO THE CLADDING CRISIS. Smoke Control Consultant Surveyor Engineered solutions
Visited Firex on all 3 days good to hear lots of positivity with regards to planned collaborations and alliances being built in the wake of the Grenfell House Event.
I feel that ALL sectors need to work together delivering safe housing stock for all.
From design stage through and through the complete life Cycle of the building Smoke and Fire needs to be Highlighted.
I Feel as a mark of respect to those Lost at Grenfell House and to leave as lasting legacy to future generations. The industry needs to unite to put in place a robust planning certification training research Risk Assessment and ultilmatley product installation Alarms, Fire Doors, Fire Stopping, Sprinklers and Smoke Management all have key roles to play.
On a negative note I was quite alarmed that in one of the seminar rooms a pencilled in event and a presentation was Given titled "Retrospective fitting of Sprinklers to High Rise Building" I feel this was in BAD TASTE to say the least and typifies the single minded attitude that has dogged this industry for the 10 years I have been involved.
I believe it is time for Change please contact the FSF to be part of this new initative.
