The Firestarter Trailblazers Award: A Chance for Early-Stage Startups to Shine
The Tech Trailblazers Awards are an annual celebration of the best and brightest enterprise tech startups from around the world. This year, the awards are continuing the provision of a bursary for non-VC backed early-stage startups called the Firestarter Trailblazers Award.
The Firestarter bursary is designed to help early-stage startups overcome the financial barriers that can prevent them from entering the Tech Trailblazers Awards. The bursary covers the $345 entry fee for any eligible startup that is three years old or younger and has not yet received VC funding.
In addition to the financial assistance, the Firestarter bursary also gives early-stage startups a chance to win the cross-category Firestarter Award. This award recognizes the startup that is making the most significant impact in the early stages of their development.
Last year's Firestarter Award winner was SoSquared , a UK-based startup that is developing a software platform to help businesses manage their data privacy compliance.
