Fired Heaters and Furnaces are often responsible for over 30% of energy usage, therefore, these items often become a key focus area for energy optimization. However, while several aspects of Fired Heaters can be measured directly (such as temperature, pressure and air flow), crucial factors such as flux, flow regime and duty cannot be measured directly.
