Why CASI Nano Insulation Board can replace ceramic fiber board & calcium silicate board?

Because CASI Nano Insulation Board enjoy below characteristics:

  1. Low thermal conductivity, more energy-saving: almost the same or lower thermal conductivity. With the same thickness of the material, CASI Nano Insulation Board can make the furnace wall temperature lower and is more energy-saving.
  2. Permanent Linear change rate ≤ -0.5%: compared with calcium silicate board 2% shrinkage and ceramic fiber board 3% shrinkage, CASI Nano Insulation Board shows only 0.5% shrinkage. When used for a long time at high temperatures, CASI Nano Insulation Board has small shrinkage and provides better protection for the structure.
  3. Better Strength: compared with ordinary thermal insulation board, the compressive strength at room temperature can reach more than 3 times, and also has good strength after heating up.

All people doesn't want big gaps in their refractory lining joints. Let's see the comparison of shrinkage after heating at 900°C:

Shrinkage of the heat insulation layer consisting of Ceramic Fiber Board for 1m length is:>1m×2%=20mm

Shrinkage of 1m length of heat insulating layer composed of CASI Nano Insulation Board is: 1m×0.5%=5mm

-In conclusion: CASI Nano Insulation Board have a small shrinkage and can provide better protection for the structure.

-When the wall thickness is the same at 200mm:

Using ceramic fiber boards, the outer wall temperature is 82°C; while using our CASI Nano Insulation Boards, the outer wall temperature is 77°C. There is a 5°C temperature difference between them!

-In conclusion:With products of the same price and thickness, our CASI Nano Insulation Boards can reduce the temperature of the outer wall of thermal equipment by up to 6.5%,but please note that our CASI Nano Insulation Boards are15%-30% cheaper.

-Comparative data, when the outer wall temperature reaches 80℃:

Using Ceramic Fiber Boards requires 210mm thickness,

while using our CASI Nano Insulation Boards only requires 185mm thickness, and the thickness difference is: 210mm-185mm=25mm.

-In conclusion:For products in the same price range and at the same outer wall temperature, CASI Nano Insulation Boards can save wall thickness by up to 13.5%.
