Be on fire for the Lord
2 Samuel 6:16 As the ark of the Lord was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord, she despised him in her heart.
How do you praise the Lord? Is it an outward celebration? Is it through the singing, cheering, and dancing? Do you praise Him through wearing clothes to identify your loyalty to Him? Or are all of these things 'too radical' and you are afraid of what others might think or say? Often we are afraid to show our faith publicly so as not to offend others. However, if we replaced the phrase 'Christian faith' with: sports, sexual preference, political views, or just about anything else... the above actions to celebrate the later phrase would not only be appropriate but celebrated. David didn't care what others thought because He was on fire for the Lord, not the world. Be on fire for the Lord regardless of what the world thinks and have a blessed day!

5 个月It’s easy to cheer on God when things are going well, but I still find praising God through the tough times a comfort and even better. We need to praise Him often and with real energy! If I can cheer on my Cubs through wins and losses I can easily praise God at all times!
