Fire Investigator Vs. Skunk

Ever played hide and seek at a fire scene? Large commercial warehouse fire that was very dark in areas. The chemicals within were semi toxic so of course I wore my respirator. As I approached the darker area of the warehouse, I saw a flash in the corner of my eye. I wasn’t sure what it was, but then I saw it again a bit later. I finally came head to head down one isle with a hefty sized skunk, with only two ways out. At that time, I am calm, but then my flash light died at the perfect time. I don’t know who was more nervous me or the skunk, but we stumbled across one another for the remainder of the day. I couldn’t smell him because of my respirator, and he couldn’t smell me because the chemicals.  LOL!!!! Wonder what tomorrow will hold in store.
