Background
In 2024, I've been working with SDIS, Portugal, particularly with the two phenomenal PYP leaders, Fiona Kemp and Ed Burt, rolling out their hybrid CPD program. Their teachers are in four PLC groups. The focus is to raise student and teacher agency.
My involvement has been to add a high-quality, self-paced online component to raise accountability and maximise improvement in teaching practice.
The approach is outlined in this article.
In mid-August, I Zoomed with Fiona and Ed to discuss the program's progress and the way forward.
