Welcome to October - the last quarter of the year - it's been an interesting year for fintech so far - public market share prices rising sharply off their lows, but still off their highs... It's been a weird and wonderful year!

• FinClear has received licences from ASIC and the Reserve Bank of Australia to make FCX the only operator other than ASX to have complete market and clearing and settlement capabilities - this makes them "the first and only fully licensed alternative to ASX Clear and CHESS in Australia."

• ASX listed Douugh announced they signed a binding agreement to acquire Radical DBX inc and they intend to rebrand as Stakk limited.

• Australian venture debt provider Fundabl has announced its rebranding to Mighty Partners , effective October 1st. This change reflects the company’s evolution in the start-up ecosystem, moving beyond short-term bridging solutions to long-term partnerships with founders.

• Spenda announced that all? conditions? precedent? required? to? effect? completion? of? the? LimePay acquisition have been satisfied ?and? that? Limepay? is? on? target? to? achieve? higher than budgeted annual recurring revenue growth in FY25.

• The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has agreed to requests from IBOA Ventures Pty Ltd Pty Limited to revoke its licence to operate as a restricted authorised deposit-taking institution (ADI) and IBOA Group Holdings Pty Ltd (IBOA Holdings) to revoke its licence to operate as a non-operating holding company (NOHC).

• Sydney based Constantinople has partnered with Cashrewards , a leading cashback platform. The partnership, according to Constantinople "brings?tremendous value?to our bank clients and their customers, offering more ways to save while shopping online."
