• Wise have hit some local milestones here in Aus - hitting 1 million active personal and business Australian customers, holding over A$1 billion in balances in their Wise Accounts. They were also granted an Australian Financial Services Licence.

• profenso.com , an Australian AI startup co-founded by Dr. Maciej Trzaskowski, PhD and Michal Studzinski, launched with a mission to automate operational intelligence. The company is targeting fintechs as one of their key verticals.

• Lisa Wade (she/her) has left her role as CEO of DigitalX Limited (ASX:DCC)

• Upworth , an Australian fintech, has launched a free AI-powered budgeting tool that leverages Open Banking to provide comprehensive financial management.

• Westpac has appointed Anthony Miller as their new CEO. He was previously Chief Executive Business and Wealth.

• 澳洲国民银行 have launched faster cross-border payments. This is a new service making international payments faster and easier for financial institutions and their customers.

• Sherlok has launched Ratetracker and has seen $130m since launch. This is a new tool for Mortgage Brokers to invite clients (new and existing) to track their interest rate 24/7, rate their interest rate against competitors and automatically reprice them to a lower rate.

• Rate Money has expanded in to Queensland launching three new branches in Aspley, Fortitude Valley and Logan.

• Up has partnered with Indigitek and General Assembly for full scholarships to GA's Software Engineering Bootcamp and a potential Up Intern.

• John Batistich has retired as a Non-Executive Director of ASX listed Zip Co

• Former Morgans Financial Limited Director John Polinelli has joined the board of Brisbane based Crypto Exchange Swyftx
