Fintech Festival 2017 - Reflections

Congrats @Mohanty Sopnendu so for the great success of Fintech Festival 2017, indeed the world’s largest Fintech Marketplace. 

It was exciting being at Fintech Festival 2017, witnessing the energy buzzing from a school of new Fintech start-ups demonstrating their drive to re-create the new world! It was even more inspiring hearing how Fintech is not for start-ups alone. At Fintech Festival, we have heard from leaders like @Tang Ning, @Vikram Pandit, @Michael Gorizz or @Arun Jaitley, how they are passionate in providing the enabling platforms/funding either via some form of accelerator or sandbox programs to give opportunities for new innovation to incubate and transform the way their organizations do business.

Thought I would also take this opportunity to share some of the hot topics from the visitors at our NICE Booth and thank everyone for the stimulating discussions. 

ADDING WINGS TO LIMITLESS ANALYTICS WITH AI/ML

ROBOTICS AUTOMATION GOING COGNITIVE, PREPARING FOR A NEW ERA OF INTELLIGENT AUTOMATION

Robotic process automation technology is reaching state of maturity, industry is not combating lack of technology but the shortage of robotics deployment experts to accelerate the pace of implementation. While industry starts to groom new breed of talent, the technology innovation agenda is accelerating at an exponential speed. NICE for one is adding AI, NLP, ML, Computer Vision etc taking robots purely from operating task to move up the value chain into decisioning and self-learning or adaptation – we are fast moving from process automation to a new era of intelligent automation.  

 ACCELERATING CLOUD ADOPTION

There was almost no mention of regulations or concerns about privacy of cloud anymore, the only hot topic is surrounding cloud is the speed of adoption.  

The industry is not changing, it has changed……thanks to all our partners and clients whom continue to co-create with NICE, accelerating digital transformation and staying at the forefront of the digital revolution!
