Israeli Companies Continue to Raise - and Fusion is Still the Most Active Early-Stage Fund
A new report by IVC and LeumiTech shows the highly resilient nature of the Israeli tech scene, which raised $2.9BN across 110 investment rounds. While much of this can be attributed to multiple cybersecurity mega rounds, it’s encouraging to see that entrepreneurs and investors are continuing to build and innovate, despite the incredibly challenging situation and the ongoing wars in the north and south of Israel.
As a reminder, Fusion is the most active VC fund in Israel (see KPMG report). In 2024, we invested in 16 new companies, and made 8 follow-up investments. Since 2017, Fusion has invested in over 120 startups. And we’re always looking for the next investment.

The Fusion CTO Event was Awesome
We recently had a chance to bring together early-stage CTOs and engineering managers to explore how AI is shaping a new generation of R&D leadership. We heard from investors on how they evaluate companies in the AI era; and held a practitioner panel with engineers from Melio, Appsflyer, JLL, and Quack AI, who offered practical tips on integrating new AI tools.
