Finovifi Acquires MBS To Boost Boosts Core Banking Capabilities
Hey Digital Banking Fanatic!
Finovifi is expanding its footprint in community banking with the acquisition of Modern Banking Systems (MBS) and its Alabama-based distribution partner, MBSAL.
The deal, announced without financial details, brings MBS’s real-time core banking software into Finovifi’s portfolio, which already includes AI-driven fraud prevention and compliance tools.
By integrating MBS’s platform, Finovifi aims to enhance cloud-native banking operations, API connectivity, and real-time compliance capabilities.
MBSAL, which has provided core processing, hardware, software, and installation services to U.S. banks for over 40 years, will now become part of Finovifi, bringing long-standing client relationships and technical expertise.
Russ Smith, MBSAL’s owner, along with the MBS team, will also join Finovifi, strengthening its presence in the southeastern U.S. market.
Finovifi’s president, Russell Taylor, emphasized the company’s goal is to “bridge the gap in the market for technology-led, market-relevant solutions.”
