What is the event about?

Finnish Game Day is a business networking event. His primary goal is to enable the Finnish teams to share their experience, as well as help them find investors, publishers and partners in Russia, Eastern Europe and Asia. This event has helped Finnish studios to attract investments and close publishing deals before.

For example, this time the participants of the event will discuss in details topic such as investment in games and, in particular, how venture companies choose games and teams to invest in. In addition, a separate round table will be devoted to the state of the current PC gaming publishing.

Finland offers great opportunities for foreign game developers and that is one of the topics that will be discussed at the event.

What’s the format?

Last year, the format of the Finnish Game Day changed. The event does not have any presentations anymore and changed in favour of focused round tables. This format will remain this year as well.

The event will hold the three discussion panels. After each panel there will be a break during which the panellists and attendees can chat more over a cup of coffee.

This year, participants of the event will be able to schedule and pre-book meetings at the Consulate via the White Nights Business Assistant system, and the Consulate will be allocated a separate room with tables for comfortable face to face meetings.
