It's a Wrap!

Exciting news at the end of the year. We have just concluded filming for the NewSpace documentary FORTITUDE.

Back in November 2011, we started with our first batch of interviews with European Space Agency - ESA , Satellite Applications Catapult , Origin Digital , Voyager Space and Astroscale . We covered 7 countries on 4 continents and concluded a total of 82 interviews.

A new Space Renaissance is emerging: Sparked by humanity’s unquenchable thirst for exploration, fuelled by capitalism’s insatiable hunger for profits and propelled by breath-taking technological advances. Fortitude uncovers how a few influential individuals with utopian ideas and vast fortunes are forging a trillion-dollar off-world industry while inspiring millions of us back on Earth. This is the story of those who take risks, invest the capital, and endeavour to turn science fiction into science fact.

Normally, filmmakers disappear into post-production for months on end but our process is different: We have already been testing various chapters of the film with live audiences with 英国伦敦大学 - 伦敦国王学院 , Virgin Galactic , Exotrail , Space for Humanity , MetaVisionaries , YPO and Novaspace (Merger of Euroconsult & SpaceTec Partners) 's WSBW. I'm now in touch with more than 30 universities, space conferences, museums and tech companies about doing film events throughout next year ( AstroAgency , Daniel Smith , SpaceWatch.Global , Torsten Kriening )

What's happening now? We've teamed up again with Michael W. who is finalising the edit at the moment. Chris Kamen will continue with legal and financial support. Camille Elizabeth Bergin (aka "The Galactic Gal" on all channels) is supporting with recording some voice-overs of our explainer videos. Our team is busy chasing down the last bits of available footage from all corners of the world (and from orbit: Sen ) and fact checking hundreds of bits of information.

To make the story come alive, we are now creating many special effect shots (h/t to Joscha Mayer, Olena Chernei , Jessica Zippel , S?nke Kirchhof , INVR.SPACE GmbH and Sheldon, our Siberian Tortoise).
