In my experience with yoga, I’ve learned the difference between persistence and obstinacy. When performing difficult asanas, if I give in to my body’s resistance and fear, I never achieve the perfect form. However, the moment I let go of resistance and trust my instructor’s guidance, I perform the asana much better. With more practice, it becomes easier to attain the perfect form.
