The fine art of job hunting.

Why is it that "candidates" email you a resume, and then send another email if you don't follow up within an hour of receiving it? Tell you they are the perfect match for a position in which they are not qualified. Finally, set them up on an interview that meets their qualifications and financial objectives . . . only to not show up for the interview?

Rhetorical question, but real life.

Happened twice this week. Side Note #1- Most interviews are now virtual so people don't even have to leave their houses.

If you are serious about getting a new job - have experience in Accounting or Administrative skills, let's talk as I currently have:

  • Admin Position in King of Prussia, PA - $50k
  • VP of Finance in North Jersey-$300k (must have Professional Services expertise)
  • Admin Position in Malvern, PA - $45k (Medical Office Experience)
  • Staff Accountant in Philadelphia, PA - ?$55-65k
  • Personal Assistant in Baltimore, MD - $80k
  • Grant Accountant in Philadelphia, PA-$75-80k

Side Note #2 - The Dubin Group was sold to Snelling/Hire Quest in February of 2022. We now have the ability to specialize in local and national openings in multiple levels of Workforce Solutions including Accounting, Administrative, and Human Resources positions.?

Please feel free to contact me via LinkedIn with any questions.
