• Tech Adoption in Focus: The report highlights the increasing adoption of technologies like AI, automation, and IoT, alongside a surge in renewable energy integration.
• Dominance of Leafy Greens: Leafy vegetables remain the most cultivated crop, with 281 respondents reporting their production, emphasizing their short growth cycles and high market demand.
• SME Opportunities: Small and medium-sized CEA operators are actively looking to level up their technology. This presents a unique chance for suppliers to deliver affordable, tailored solutions that meet their needs.
• Sustainability in Action: Renewable energy use is gaining momentum, with solar energy adoption leading the way, particularly in Asia and North America.
