Finding Your #Why: The True Motivator

If you haven't heard of the concept "Find Your #Why", often credited to Simon Sinek, it's an incredible thing. Finding your #why is crucial for #success in #sales and in #life.

#1 Your #why provides a sense of purpose and direction. When you understand #why you're doing what you're doing, you're more likely to stay focused and committed to your goals. This is especially important in sales and in life where the journey to #success can be challenging and filled with obstacles.

#2 Your #why fuels your passion and perseverance. Passion is a powerful motivator in #sales. It enhances your interaction with customers, improves your sales numbers but also your dedication to bettering yourself to accomplish your overall #goals.

#3 Your #why helps you connect with your customers. When you understand why you're selling a product, you're better equipped to communicate its value to the customer. You're not just selling a product; you're providing a solution to a customer's problem or fulfilling a customer's need. This is the truth and you need to understand this. People will try to tell you otherwise to break you down. Do not let this happen.

#4 Paylaying off of #3 your #why helps you stay resilient in the face of adversity. Sales can be a tough job with plenty of #rejections. However, when you're clear about your #why, you're more likely to persevere, learn from your failures, and achieve your targets.

To wrap this all up, finding your #why is not just about sales quota fulfillment; it's a strategic move that can significantly enhance your success in sales, life and personal satisfaction.

Truth. I’ve learned this. If your why doesn’t make you cry, then it’s not motivating enough. For me, it’s leaving a legacy to my wife, daughters and future grandchildren.

Before I had kids, my why was simple. I used my time and money to help as many other people as I possibly could. After having kids, my why shifted to them. Now that they are getting older, I'm finding balance between the two. Both require resources, so we grind!

Conversely, finding your customer's "why" is critical to being able to help them.
