Are you frustrated that you don't know your life's purpose? Does it feel like you're drifting through life without a clear direction, wondering what you're meant to do? You're not alone. Many people grapple with finding their "why," that driving force behind their actions and decisions.
Simon Sinek tells us to "start with why," while Gary Keller urges us to focus on our "ONE Thing." But I propose there's a critical step needed before you can find your "why" or "ONE Thing."
You have to be crystal clear on your values – those deeply held beliefs that shape your choices.
Think of it like building a house. Sinek's "why" is the blueprint, Keller's "ONE Thing" is the foundation, and your values are the bricks and mortar.
Here's the truth: when you live by your values, purpose naturally follows. It's not something you find; it's something you create.
How to build a life of purpose:
Stop chasing purpose. Start living your values. Your "why" will find you.
