Finding your #VoiceFirst

A recent report by Mangrove Capital projected the voice economy to become a trillion-dollar market by 2025. I had the chance to spend a few days at Voice Summit AI #VOICE19 few weeks ago,?speaking and interacting with a voice tribe of over 5000 people that is just as excited about how this industry is evolving. A whirlwind few days with fellow conversation designers, developers, agencies, global brands, and sponsor giants like Samsung Bixby, Google, Amazon Alexa, Microsoft was really the brain food I needed.

Outstanding talks from industry stalwarts like @RogerKibbe of Samsung Bixby, @CathyPearl of Google, @NoelleLaCharite of Microsoft. And the highlight was the closing keynote by @ThomasChappell, Senior Infra Systems Developer at Prudential— who also happens to be a deaf person. This keynote brought the house down and made us all stand up to applaud the work that Thomas and his team are doing. To see the potential of how #VoiceFirst could make technology more accessible to communities that have been so far ignored by the tech industry was truly gratifying.
