Finding Your Voice

Social media is full of other people’s thoughts that have been cut & and pasted and then posted in an attempt to improve engagement.

Please just stop.

Whether it be Seth or Cardone, Gary Vee or Kerwin Rae, Tony Robbins or Craig Ballantyne, Burchard or Kern these folks all started off, & continue today, posting & sharing their own unique perspectives. They grew a following by engaging with the folks who read their stuff & and liked what they saw. They built their own house with the folks who resonated with their content, and their take on things.

They are big enough to share other people’s thoughts sometimes but in the main, they are doing what they have always done – sharing their thoughts & and their insights.

You cannot copy and paste yourself to relevancy or a sizable audience – you actually have to be creative and share your own take on the things that matter in your industry.

Sharing the work of established folks may get ’Likes’ but that is because they already have an established audience. Frankly, it is often an audience that will lap up whatever they put out there good, bad, or indifferent – but you’re not them.

Your message has yet to be widely heard, your credentials are not fully established, and your expertise is not fully formed. And that is fine because you can build your own house, and create your own tribe by being your different self.

There are people out there who will benefit from your insights, advice, ideas & and perspectives. An audience just for you.

They don’t need recycled info from others, they need to hear?YOU.
