My Thoughts - Finding a Mentor at Work
There are many benefits of finding a mentor at work. Among those, career development and expanding your personal and professional network. According to MentorCliQ 25% of mentees experienced an increase in their salary, compared to 5% of people not involved in mentoring.?
So how can you go about finding a great mentor at work?
Here are a few steps you can take to find a mentor at work:
HR can help you find a mentor at work by connecting you with experienced employees who are willing to share their knowledge and experience with others. They can also provide resources or programs to help facilitate mentorship relationships, such as pairing you with a mentor who has similar interests or career goals.
Additionally, HR can provide guidance and support throughout the mentorship process to ensure that it is productive and beneficial for both you and your mentor.
If you are finding it difficult to find a mentor on your own, it's a good idea to reach out to your HR representative and ask for help, they will guide you through the process.

2 年Love this share. Finding a mentor is truly valuable. We are the average of the five people we spend time with. Sometimes, it is about who (to ask for support), instead of how.
