Finding your power in all the chaos, uncertainty, and unpredictability

Finding your power in all the chaos, uncertainty, and unpredictability

The past two weeks have felt so chaotic and uncertain. Are you feeling it, too?

Personally, I needed a hug and a cookie (the size of my face) last Friday. That's significant because I rarely eat sugar. But I wanted a treat something to just bring some sweetness to life.

Despite running a boutique consulting firm that's all about helping savvy leaders turn disruption into opportunity, my own resilience was challenged.

So, when I feel a lot of strong emotions, I write and make videos, and I'm sharing them with you today. I've got three resources to help you navigate the craziness more powerfully.

It's really hard on your brain, nervous system, and body to handle constant change. That's true whether that's at work, in your personal life, or in the environment -- like with the US government right now.

I created a guide to help you make sense of how you're being impacted, and more importantly, three simple techniques you can use to dial down the intensity so you can think and act more clearly.

The three tension-reducing techniques in the guide are part of a huge suite of tools we at Powerful Under Pressure teach in organizations, through workshops and coaching.

Event for Senior Leaders: Change Management is Dead, Long Live Change Resilience

If you're leading any type of change or innovation in your organization, Powerful Under Pressure 's February Leadership Conversation on February 20 is for you, especially if you or your team is feeling exhausted or frustrated.

We know that the pace of change is making innovation really tough. In 2016, the average company had 2 major change initiatives. Last year, that number was 10.?

On top of that, the leaders we're speaking with are finding that traditional approaches to managing change -- built on structured frameworks and linear processes -- aren't sufficiently addressing the complexity of today’s business environment.

Disruption is no longer an occasional event—it’s a constant. Organizations must navigate a faster pace of change, increasing uncertainty, and the need for everyone to play an active role in adaptation.

We're hosting a one-hour virtual session. It's exclusively for senior leaders at companies with 50+ employees. If that's you, we'd love you to join us to explore how organizations you can move beyond change management to what we call "change resilience."

Get the details of this deep dive conversation about how to support change in an era where change is relentless, non-stop, and often exhausting: https://www.powerfulunderpressure.com/event-details/change-management-is-dead-long-live-change-resilience

We love sharing resources that boost resilience at an individual, team, and organizational level. If you try out any of these tools, drop me a line and let me know how they impact you!

Wishing you joy,
