Finding your North!

Whilst reflecting on a positive month of growth for Green Light, I realise that where once we would have been shouting from the roof tops about our success, it is now difficult to celebrate when so many others are doing it tough.

There will be an end to this crisis but right now it is hard to see when that will be and when the suffering of others will end.

However, those of us working have a responsibility to keep striving to sustain, if not grow our businesses, to look after our families, employees and customers.

Today is Monday and the norm of people asking “How was your weekend?” seems hollow as most of us have isolated ourselves away. Today I am missing the banter in the office, colleagues talking excitedly to customers, congratulations of successful projects and services.

I am missing that I can’t meet with my customers and have a coffee whilst listening to what their current challenges are.

But through painful times we can improve, we can show our spirit, go that extra mile and get back to the essence of why we do what we do!
