In fact, it could be said that we’re the last word in cycling shoes – and the first, of course!

Yes, because we use so many different lasts across our vast range,?we'll do our best to find?the perfect fit for cyclists with narrow feet, regular width feet, and especially wide feet. We’re not limited to any one aspect of cycling shoe requirements, and we can also cater from different volume – how much room that your foot takes up. Comfort Plus Last

Perfect for cyclists with wider feet, giving the room that you require and find difficult to achieve with other brands. Our MX201 is a great mountain biking shoe that uses this last. For road cyclists, there’s the CX201.

Sport Last

This last features a larger, more roomy toe-box than our Comfort last, while providing increased foot control through the heel & saddle of the foot. Among the shoes using this last, is our CX/ MX177 models.

Competition Last

Featuring a larger toe box & tighter heel than the Comfort last and with slightly more overall volume than the Sport last. Shoes using this last are the best-selling CX/ MX238 and the CX/MX242, the perfect shoe for cyclists with foot issues such as bunions.

Race Last

Featuring a slightly narrower toe box & tighter heel than the Competition last and less overall volume than the Sport last. Designed for a slimmer fit & most suitable for racing. Shoe models that uses this last, range from our CX302, CX/MX333 and the race-ready CX403, MX30G.

Of course, these are just a selection of our current lasts and current models within each last highlighted. However, what is does show, when you also consider the we produce our shoe ranges in 3 different width fittings – narrow, regular, and wide – is that Lake cycling shoes research, design and produce cycling shoes for all cyclists, and not simply for wide feet. Yes, whatever the width or volume of your own feet, you can be sure that we at Lake will do our best to wrap you in our legendary comfort and performance.
