Finding Your Beauty

Beauty is multi-dimensional.?It can be physical, but yet it goes well beyond makeup.?Feeling beautiful differs from looking beautiful.?

Finding beauty in surrounding things can foster a positive feeling in your emotions. The phrase, “beauty is in the eye of the beholder,” at first thought, this phrase makes you think of physical beauty, but when you radiate peace and happiness in your spirit, that is where your true beauty lies.

Smile…it will brighten your day and others around you will feel your energy.

Stretch…if you have a cat or dog, watch them stretch. They are onto something! Try to follow their lead.

Exercise…even a daily 10-minute session of continuous activity will help to increase your energy level and keep those negative stressors away.

Work your way up to 20-30 minutes of daily exercise. Yes, dancing in your kitchen while cooking is great also!

Hydrate…no other liquid is quite like good clean, clear water! I recommend 8 glasses daily.

Your skin will radiate. Your joints will thank you. If pain in those joints is an issue, it will lessen your pain.

Rest…remember to rest by taking breaks and getting enough sleep.

Regardless of your work location, take a 5-minute break from your workspace. Consider doing this every couple of hours, more often if you are so inclined. When you try this, you will stay fresh and focused.

Make sure you get sufficient sleep at night because your body regenerates and heals while you are sleeping.?

Do good…when you do something for someone else expecting nothing in return, you benefit in ways unimaginable.

Exchange…the money you spend on junk food for food that will enrich your body. Start with a simple plan of exchange. Some think that healthy foods cost more. Find out your spending pattern by making 2 lists.

“Stop and smell the roses”…every day is a gift! When faced with lemons and curve balls in life, it's often easier to focus on the negatives and shortcomings.

Since we are our own worst critics, begin with the one you see when you look in the mirror! List all your assets (not just physical). Realize all the good in being you.?Move on to other things around you. Consistently practice this until it becomes second nature.

Goodness may be found in most everything and everyone.?You just have to look for it.

Learn…perhaps there is a subject or skill you've been meaning to learn but haven't had the chance. Well, now is the time. Just do it!

The various search engines on the internet are a great place to start. Search the subject and start stimulating and enriching your mind today.

Reward yourself…set financial and personal goals and tag them with rewards for accomplishing them.

After completing all the above, consider treating yourself.?You deserve it!
