Finding the Superyou

There are multiple versions of you floating around. Each one of you is a real possibility. Like a node on the mega-multiverse. You can jump between any version of yourself. Go towards a version of you where you’re a family man, always focused on your people. Or a version where you took care of yourself, always in top shape, top health, top looks, top outlook. Or one where you live on a street, wondering about your tomorrow. These nodes, as uncountable they may be are very real. You jump between these versions of you everytime you make a decision. Any decision, no matter how trivial causes a rift in time and space. The universe splits in two where there’s a node where you didn’t take that decision and a version where you did take it. The truth is, because there are infinite versions of you, jumping to a nearby node can be as simple as taking a small a decision as to brush your teeth every day. From there, it can be as simple as making sure you shower every day. Little by little, node by node, you get to the version you want to be.

At the center of these nodes are superyous. These are mega beings that are incredibly powerful and dangerous. These superyous wield incredible power and are able to cause changes to the fabric of space-time, the universe itself. The universe is subservient to them, and its laws are kept flexible to them. A secret of our history is that all major events were caused by superyous. These are empire building or empire destroying beings. Throughout our history, a superyou decided that they wanted something or didn’t like the way something was. They took the decision that not only caused a split in their universe but also the fabric of every being around them. What’s terrifying and exciting is every version of you has a path to these becoming a superyou.

The struggle of traveling between nodes is that with each node on the multiverse, there’s a whole life, a whole playground, a complete set of shiny things designed to keep you comfortable in your current node. These forces create a pull that adds significant momentum in your ability to traverse to your next node. You might even think that this node is great, that very well might be the case. But there’s always a greater node up ahead. This immense, momentum-breaking will is rare and exhausting, but the rewards of the next node are incredible. In some ways, the superyou sacrifices everything they found in their node to reach the next node. These sacrifices can range from familiar places they found solace in, to people who would no longer be compatible with the next version of them. Some of these people are those who cause you pain, but some have been a key part of your existence.

The best people will even pull you to your next node, they will drag you along to your next version. It’s probably the easiest way to travel to your next node. The opposite is also true, some people will drag you to a node which is where you don’t want to go.

I don’t know in which node you read my note on, but know this: there are always great and terrifying things inside you. You just need to make a decision and jump your node. So, go ahead, split this universe.
