100 Years! Wow! This is an exciting time for everyone at West.?
I have been at West for eight years. When I joined, I was relatively young and thought I knew a lot of things, but I didn’t really. When I look back, I realize I have grown exponentially both professionally and personally.??
I was a na?ve salesperson desperate to bring new customers on board. I’ve grown into the role of a Key Account Manager. I nurture, care about, and support our customers. I am very attentive to their needs. Over the years, I have learned how to invest in our customers’ and West’s long-term success and outcomes. Today, I am confident enough to say that l know what I am doing!?
I have definitely found the right fit. My role works for my skills and as an organization, West reflects my personality and belief system. It’s something everyone aspires to, and I can say that I have been lucky in that aspect. Of course, there have been ups and downs, high and low points in my professional journey over the years, but there have also been new learnings; new explorations (both in terms of new geography and cultural diversity) and new milestones to cross.?
I believe you should value your own products and services above anything else. Treat others as you wish to be treated. Thinking about long-term wins and taking on new challenges is what keeps working life exciting. It's heartening to see that West fosters all these traits and that’s why I’m still here after eight years.??
There are not many salespeople who reach a 10-year mark with one company. I take pride in saying that I am almost there!?
