Finding a Relationship vs. Finding a Job

Which is more annoying? Work takes so much out of me I rarely have the strength to pursue relationships. When work is solid, there are no relationships to be had. Everyone has a boyfriend or so they say.

At this point everyone is married. I could not imagine a partnership. It would be an interesting concept to find a woman who aligns with me. Make like Aerosmith and Dream On.

Finding relationships and finding work became infinitely worse when everything moved online. Too much fraud. On dating sites you either find the love of your life or fraud. There is no middle of the road. I met con artists and whores on dating sites.

While I have no problem with someone who is sex positive, when someone says she likes to perform acts of love (with more colorful language) and suggests I wire her forty dollars- that is prostitution.

Unlike Hollywood and the Academy Awards- I am no fan of prostitution. Paying someone to care- even if you are paying them to leave there is human trafficking involved.

Even women are scammed. One would think women would hold all the cards on dating sites. It's like hitchhiking. If you are honest and pick someone up you will be the victim of a crime. If you are hitchhiking you will be picked up by someone who will commit a crime.

Prove me wrong. My sister met her husband on a dating site. It is possible. They actually met. I cannot stress this enough.

NEVER SEND MONEY TO ANYONE YOU HAVE NOT MET IN PERSON

When a woman seemed to show interest and lived forty minutes away, I thought I could meet her within the hour. She said the forty dollars was for gas and to help support her child.

Had she led with this, I happened to be underemployed and did not have money to pay a wire transfer fee much less the amount which might be under the level of a felony although it would have been missed as I scrounged with minimal work.

The fact she said she liked to perform intercourse and then asked for money- not everyone on dating sites is fraudulent. I was burned and will not play with fire.

At least I have a job. Freedom is going years without having to fill out a job application. The thought does not cross my mind. There has been some fraud with job searches. That keeps me away from CareerBuilder if they are still in business.

If something is too good to be true- it probably is. If someone is only talking to you in order to separate your money from you- that is not a relationship. You can live without relationships. You cannot live well without a job and income.

There are relationships to cultivate at work. Some people are nice to see if only briefly in passing. I have never had a good job and a good relationship at the same time. Sometimes you are lucky to have one or the other. Did I mention first dates are like job interviews? Hopefully you will make it through that annoying process.
