Finding the Purpose and Purpose Satisfactory Platform!

I deeply believe that the whole purpose of the creating social media platforms and being on it was to get in touch with the people and be social than usual.

But you'd agree here too that during the period of the time, the whole focus of the actual purpose of the social media is been changed to different things depending up on (now) so many various factors.

And believe it or not I had become part of this meaningless, unstoppable race on social media stating who has more followers, who has more view or comments or great number of engagement and all the analytics and all that.

surprisingly I came across few creators who are actually doing their business on via different platforms and then they were at Instagram doing everything that every other person is doing on Instagram.

That was my clue to start thinking out of the box. Although I was so determined to increase my followers on Instagram, but I always knew I'd do something/ say something that would contribute in someone's knowledge or at would be helpful in making their day better.

I tried and was (still on Instagram, don't worry!) consistent on being creating the content and was uploading in the decided time frames and time intervals.

But then I started coming across people who were putting logic in the thoughts, I was coming across videos and quotes and even reel which started making sense to me.

Now, one part of this says that I got the way because I was looking for it. And mighty Power, Universe made me see all of that. That's true too, but there was also my Strong will to find something much more productive.

I will talk about the 'Online Productivity' and stuff a little later, but let's continue this for now.

So basically it started with clearing and finding to the answers of so many questions which were supposed to be cleared way before you start any social media journey.

When you know these answers, you don't get distracted or away from your purpose. And neither you get lost in the trails of analysis and numbers.

I'm gonna tell you what did I was searching and what did I find.

So I was searching for two things-

1. Making a business out of the social media, which I might have thought to be getting brand deals and all. And,
2. To form a community to who would turn to be my potential clients for the digital service that our company provides.

There is of course a story behind the 'Our Company' but I shall save it for later!

None of these purposes were getting fulfilled and looking other people on social media started making me worry about so many things and I started going into self doubt. Or even worst, I started copying people!

So I started research got to know that I do have a platform which will well serve my purpose. And I got back to writing on LinkedIn, which satisfy my third hidden purpose also, that is to get to write, which is my most favorite and liberating work in the world.

So in the end, all I would wanna say is Thank you LinkedIn fam, knowingly or unknowingly I felt such huge support!

I promise I'd be good, consistent and value adding to your professional, personal as well as spiritual lives!
