Finding Peace.

Finding Peace.

Our Peace is lost.

The darkened clouds and misty skies have obscured her view, have slowed her centering in on the space, have inhibited her landing where she knows she is needed, and so she remains in flight, circling above in search for her landing place.

So lost is our precious Peace, she can but only hear the thunderous chaos around her, the calamity strewn across sandy shores and softened soils she once knowingly sunk her feet into.

And so it is, as she drifts across the skies of continents spanning the globe, she searches helplessly, relentlessly, for the place to put her feet, the place to put her purpose.

For you see dear friend; Peace cannot find her place, and she grows more desperate every day.

So lost is she in the skies above, that the world wobbles in her absence and in so doing makes vulnerable that which only she can provide.

She needs us all, and now.

She needs to return to her rightful place so she can begin to suture the scars of generations of souls.

She needs to return to her rightful place so she can show others the way to walk away from war.

She needs to return to her rightful place so she can show our children that strength comes not from suffering, but from sharing the struggle.

Peace needs her place, and now.

We must ask ourselves, what would Peace want from us today, those of us whom have the certainty of place, those who can walk into the world each day with a silent steadiness.

What does she need?

Peace needs us to hold her place within our hearts, until such time as she can walk alongside us.

She needs to know that while she cannot put her feet on the sandy shores, or the softened soils, just yet, she can be carried within us all.

And that in so being, she can begin to see the strength of her work in every individual she knows believes in her, who believes in the imperative of her work.

We must forever hold Peace in our hearts, we must show our children how to do this, and we must talk to them about how necessary Peace is in our lives.

We must do this now, so that together, Peace will soon be found, and her purpose thus fulfilled.
