Finding our way to make better tubes
In cosmetic tube printing, many customers apply CMYK to make the whole artwork. It's a common way for tube printing.
In some cases, when there is lots of graphics and colors in the artwork, the colors by CMYK will not be stable enough as it needs to combine so many colors. The technician will specially pay attention on the major graphics such as human faces, logo, icon, etc. to ensure they come out very clear and vivid. In this way, some small less important part will not be as clear as the major graphics/text.
I’d like to show you a case we have done on a hand cream tube.
All printing of above tube is achieved by CMYK printing, the “made in France” text is the less focus part. It actually looks good if you don’t carefully check it. But if we look more close and detail, you will find the text not quite smooth.
This is a very small portion of the tube, it could be accepted by many suppliers and customers. Well, Auber team trying to make it better, that’s why you get to see our work below.
Now the text is smoother and solider! We separated this text from CMYK printing and applied a solid Pantone color to make it better.
This is us, we find our way to make better tubes.
