Finding myself amidst the chaos

It was just another refreshing Monday after a small weekend break. No doomy signs, no signs of storms…A call for a meeting and I could sense something off when I entered the office. You know what happened next. I had two choices, either to react or simply ignore and snap over it. I chose the latter one.
I was blank, hurt, & clueless which would obviously be the case for any 40 plus single bread-winner lady. However, I managed to come out of it due to my family, friends (people reading this know who are the genuine ones ;), my super can-do attitude and by simply following 5 thumb rules:
1. Know your Worth: You do not owe any explanation to anyone. Trust your inner guidance; it knows the best. Follow your heart as that’s what you are and rest is secondary. Do what is best for you and just for YOU.
2. Surround yourself with your tribe: Choose and make a conscious effort to surround yourself with positive and uplifting people. Savour your tribe. I love this quote by Alex Elle which I follow religiously – Surround yourself with people who add value to your life. Who challenge you to be greater than you were yesterday. Who sprinkle magic into your existence, just like you do to theirs. Find your tribe, and journey freely & loyally together.
3. Declutter: Remove unwanted stuffs from your cupboard, room, house, phone, social media and avoid unnecessary conversations, manipulators and fake people as these are not worth of your time, energy & trust. I did it and believe me I am at peace now.
4. Indulge yourself: Treat yourself with walks, cooking, reading, painting, anything which makes you happy. I treat myself with camping or hiking as Nature keeps me grounded and love to do painting or drawing which adds colour to my life.
5. Snap/snap/snap: Yes, you heard it right! I snap fingers when I feel lost. It is scientifically proven that snapping fingers works as a trigger which has a sudden implication on your subconscious mind to feel/do/change. Trust me it really works!
Remember to embrace your own power and do not let the bitterness steal your sweetness and keep repeating as an affirmation – I AM A WARRIOR.
I still feel low at times which is okay as I know when to snap it ??.
Here I am signing off hoping this would help people to stop pondering on how I keep on moving…
Now its your turn to choose your battle and your ways…
