Finding my voice
I'm now a year in to my role as a Director of SMITHKIN BAKER and it's certainly flown by! We've had ups and downs along the way, but I've found not being an employee, but rather an owner, with 'skin in the game' to be rewarding, exciting and (most importantly) fulfilling.
We've also set up the rather successful notworking networking events, where I have rediscovered my love of being 'front and centre'. Standing in front of 100 guests, having fun and facilitating a good time really does raise a smile which, at the end of the day is what I'm keen to do every day!
Confucius wisdom is to find a job you love so that you don't have to work. With this axiom firmly in mind we have added a string to the SMITHKIN BAKER bow with my (dare I say it) veritable skill hosting, auctioneering and guest speaking sitting alongside our core business offering of integrated sales, marketing and design.
Should you have the need for someone to pull it all together I could be your man.
