Preeminent translator Jay Rubin came to town and hosted a Q&A, then appetizers and dinner with a select crowd. I had a fantastic time hanging out with Laura Jones Driussi, her mother Sumie Jones, Peter Goodman, Frederik L. Schodt, Jonathan Kirk, and of course Jay and his wife Raku.
