- Take a job that helps you to achieve your goals – maybe you want to donate to an important cause with a higher-salary position or work full-time to help that cause. The world is your oyster.?
- Find other ways to support the causes you care about: do you want to help fight injustice, social impact or climate change (to name a few…)? There are plenty of charities and local organizations to help you do that and give back while still keeping your day job. You can give time or monetary contributions - whichever feels best to you?
- Pay it forward: did someone help you to get to where you are through a talk, an informational interview, or something else? If you don’t have the time to dedicate to a cause - prioritize spending 30 minutes once a month helping someone else who once stood in your shoes the information they need to get a jumpstart on what is next for them.?
