Finding Joy in the Process
Hey Guys,
Welcome to another gorgeous Thursday, where we get to hangout with one another.
I am still LOVING all things AI x No Code which is why if you love it as much, I am asking you to subscribe to my letters using the blue link above.
So come and exhale with me for circa 5 mins, i.e. take that smoothie or double-shot espresso break, and lets chat about whats happened not only this past week, but about my journey to This very day :)
Discovering Joy in the Process
I have always been what I call a "words person."
Words, without any warning, sometimes its a phrase, just creep into my soul and in the process, do what I call “speak to me” {ha ha i know}
Whatever they do, they let me know they are there ??
That’s how this week's letter was inspired, by a phrase from a course I am doing and absolutely LOVING with Sahil Khosla and his NoCode University
More on where you can learn about NoCode later on in my Roadmap section.
Consuming
This phrase came from one of the best video conversations I had last week with a very cool women called Tanye ver Loren van Themaat who got me thinking about the idea of consuming.
For the past year and a half, I've been really into learning about AI and building stuff without writing code.
It's been crazy fun and exciting, though I started to wonder if I was just getting lost in all the information.
Was I learning just for the sake of learning, or was I actually using what I was picking up?
After freaking out a bit, I realized I was actually doing something useful with it all.
Here is my Roadmap "Easing into all things AI x No Code"
1) I graduated with distinction in my 1st ever AI Bootcamp Learn AI and the legend that is Bradley Janse van Rensburg
He began the "great obsession" as I call it with Gen AI, which resulted in me discovering her cousin No Code ??
2) I started an AI No Code Newsletter
3) Designed and created my debut landing page, with Carrd Inspiration
Use case: My friend's semi pro surfer son needed to get online {check it out here}
4) Then I created my first evert GPT Arnie - The Never Quit Coach on Open AI's platform-followed by quite a few more GPTees, aka passion projects
5) Completed my very first EVER MVP with Max H. in 25 days {that was crazy FUN}
6) Built our own Internal tools and database {Hiring CRM}, with a few basic automations on SmartSuite
7) Completed the 100 Days of NoCode and physiologically grew so much as its an accountability online challenge and really makes you think ( plus you get exposed to many cool no code tools)
8) Brought to life my first EVER Portfolio on Softr Check it out here :)
9) Created a mini ME on Chipp and started with what I love, which is Yoga and Feeling good in your body 40-day healing journey { Its FREE to tinker and play with}
10) Created a few virtual colleagues, to improve both CX experience as well as the journey of the human on the job market -I built a survey form with Fillout
11) I built an internal tool on Poe to help me become more efficient at what I do, saving time and at same time helping me get closer to closing sales
Called it my XRayBoolNinja_Bot
12) Also thanks to GenAI, T&H made their FIRST Ever AI assisted sale| placement using Anthropic 's #Claude
13) Designed and I built my first EVER community called No Code Central
14) Brought to life, a built I call the NoCode Tool Finder using the magic of Chipp and Softr
15) Created a Pitch Deck Story on Canva and embedded the link into Softr for my MVP
16) Built my first EVER database using Airtable and fell in love with Data and its limitless functionality
17) Just recently completed the 15 day Chipp Challenge and adored all the use cases
18) Completed over 36 courses with 微软 LinkedIn 谷歌 as wanted to hear the GenAI story told in as many diverse voices as possible
So YES.....its been a real case of theory being hungrily consumed, and also then transformed into building in public with all the above projects.
I am super grateful to have had this privilege to grow my inner self as well as my digital literacy.
It takes courage to show up, and build, and so I encourage you too, to join me. Lets keep one another accountable.
Finding Joy in the Process
As much as I have loved, and am loving, all things AI x No Code, I had to remind myself that when you love something, you are supposed to savour it, and take your time.
I already am who I want to be.
Sure, I was playing catch-up on the software literacy side, and yet the deeper I go into this, the more I agree with the legend that is Kevin Kelly and his technium” and what tech wants concepts.
What is the Technium?
My interpretation is that It’s an extension of the human mind, and the human mind is a progressive one.
It pretty much never stops.
Though that does not mean we can't STOP to do what I call Stock Take!!
To give thanks for the learning journey we have been on.
Yes, we need progress, but boy oh boy, do we also need JOY!
So, remember that the next time you are running along, remember that you can’t catch the wind with your hands, no matter how hard you try.
Surrender to What Is
I know, I know. What do you mean surrender? I have 58 unread emails; are you mad?
I feel the best of us have a sprinkle of madness, though on a serious note, this unorthodox method works.
I am not saying don’t respond to the emails.

I am suggesting to surrender and accept that after you deal with those 58 emails, it’s more than likely 15 new ones will make their way into your inbox.
So practice self-care, and start unsubscribing to emails that offer a similar scope of what's going on in tech or whatever other topic appeals to you.
UNSUBSCRIBE.
FREE your mind, body, and soul from data it does not need to process.
Rest your precious eyes - and unsubscribe.
Even if it means unsubscribing from my letters.
No Code University and Sahil
This guy is a special soul.
That I am fond of Sahil is not new. I am doing his Carrd course and even the way he introduces a course makes you feel special:
“I am Sahil, and I’m thrilled to be your teacher on this exciting journey.”
His makes you take the theory and build along with him, in a real-life lab setting, with proper business use cases.

The best part. She offers a course on how to help you communicate your ideas visually too.
It’s also About Being Selective
It’s true. That’s what this week's letter is all about.
You can’t be everything to everyone.
Surrender to the data- it will keep coming – whether in the form of emails, invoices, projects, sales dashboards, etc.
So, make TIME for you.
Just power off; yes, we are one big operating system ourselves and so I encourage you to go look at natural light.
The one pouring into your workspace. It need not be more than 15 mins but come back to YOU, as self-care is something we do rather badly.
We wait until we are broken before stopping.
So let’s be mindful, clear space in that diary of yours, to exhale.
Notice if your neck feels tight. Maybe your lower back hurts. Get up and stretch that human body of yours.
Oops, it’s the Yogini coming out again in me. Just know what it’s like to be out of kilter as I am having to reset and restore yet again.
Anyhow, let's keep easing into all things AI x No Code and now mindfulness together.
Blessings always,
Nix G
