Finding Joy

Finding Joy

Your weekly dose of Alluviance!

A big part of my practice lately has been finding?joy?in all things. Full transparency, it's been a bit challenging for me. When I remember to become aware to the joy in the thing I'm doing (in a meeting, walking down the street, eating food) it catalyzes something within me that feels powerful. Unfortunately, it's yet to be consistent.

Here's the important part: the?joy?is always there, even during the pain.?

How??

We connect to our purpose?in?the struggle.?

It changes our challenge from something that holds us back, to something that is shaping us into the version of ourselves that achieves our vision, and maybe even something past it.?

Finding joy in sales and leadership isn't just about feeling good. It's about working towards something bigger than yourself. Whether it be investing into a rep, supporting a customer, or driving the mission of a company.?

The next time you are (and I'm definitely talking to myself here) feel overwhelmed, stressed, or disconnected, take a step back and remember that joy is sacred. It's simply what drives us.?

3. Quote to fuel your Alluviance:

"Some of you say, "Joy is greater than sorrow," and others say, 'Nay, sorrow is the greater." But I say unto you, they are inseparable. Together they come, and when one sits alone with you at your board, remember that the other is asleep upon your bed."

– Kahlil Gibran

I'm sharing this with you while I practice the embodiment finding joy myself. An Alluviant Leader doesn't shy away from what's real. We are authentic in our journey so that others can learn side by side.
