Realize that the number of genes an organism has in its genome is linked to the amount of energy the organism can transform. This means the gene expression is also directly correlated by probabilities to how it is expressed. POMC in mammals is critical in this energy linkage. This is a function of the energy/information flow and not the anatomy of the genome itself. It is also related to the redox potential of the organism in question. Ultimately, All energy in life ultimately comes from sunlight. It is stored in every cell membrane and in the electronic state of cells. Most of these stores of energy available to cells are not accounted for in any biochemistry book. If you have a biochemical bias (pic above does) for health and think labs can decipher this code you are dead wrong.?Labs cannot account for any energy stored in the electronic state of cells.
For example, nitric oxide is stimulated by UV-A light (pic above). If you get sun uric acid is no issue. Uric acid ruins oxygen delivery to mitochondria by way of hemoglobin's dynamics (below).?Most of these "so-called experts" have no idea that uric acid changes the oxidation of iron in hemoglobin to slow oxygen and Nitric Oxide delivery to mitochondria SIMULTANEOUSLY. The allopathic experts don't seem to know that the magnetic moment of Fe atoms controls this entire process and that UV-A sunlight controls the oxidation state of iron in hemoglobin.
When this occurs what is the critical end result in all mammals??It lowers the mitochondrial production of melatonin.?(see below) This expert who wrote this book on uric acid does not seem to know that all neurodegenerative diseases are also linked to LACK of solar exposure. Instead the agenda of selling you a diet idea/book and suggesting you "lab up" and take key supplements that recommended is advanced. This is centralized BS. In a decentralized medical world, this makes ZERO sense. Why?
Any time melanin sheets in your brain are degrading (decreased POMc expression) so is melatonin production from your mitochondria. And remember melatonin feeds back on all circadian clock genes: a theory involving the proteasome or maybe the exposome?
The paper below reports, " The interaction of melatonin with the proteasome in the hypothalamus also provides a model for explaining the dramatic 'time-of-day' effect of melatonin injections on the reproductive status of seasonal breeders."
This paper seems to predict that a proteasome inhibitor that acts like sunlight would modify circadian rhythms in a manner similar to melatonin.

Water changes with sunlight and increases its coherence by changing its optical properties. Its dielectric constant increases and this changes its refractive properties. This creates a higher probability of a state of global quantum coherence in the organism that can be seen in the feathers of birds or the light shown in cephalopods. Hydrogen bonds form between water molecules, giving rise to supramolecular aggregates/clusters/coherent domains. The clustering of water is a cooperative phenomenon, which means that forming one hydrogen immediately favors the formation of several other hydrogen bonds, and vice versa, breaking one bond leads to breaking up a whole cluster. Thus clusters are dynamic flickering networks with lifetimes of 10^- 11 to 10^-10 seconds. Light changes those hydrogen bonding networks by moving charges around. Watching the light at sunrise at a 15% angle gets the best results for pituitary function initially. This angle is when the red light predominates and balances the blue frequencies present. As the angle of sunlight gets over 15% UVA shows up in the environment and changes the electronic induction in the eye and skin. When the sun gets over 30% is when UVB light has arrived in most places on Earth.
Mammals that survived the KT event would have needed some way to get environmental signals to their pituitary gland to drive the thyroid hormone cycle needed to drive seasonal changes and control reproduction for survival. Without these two factors, no mammals would have survived very long, in a low-quantum yield environment.
In today’s world, we now see the same similarities in our environment but for different reasons. As a result, in humans, thyroid diseases and fertility changes are now at pandemic levels. What does hypothyroidism mean for our skin and eyes in relation to how we charge our cells?
I believe that UV-A light is critical in driving thyroid cycling in all modern mammals including humans. It also is linked to POMC creation and cleavage at every surface it is made in us. When mammals are hypothyroid this alters the efficiency of POMC expression and cleavage. When you realize that POMC is the key to understanding cortisol and melanin this should make you stop and think about how it links directly to photosynthesis and why the system is built as it is in ALL MAMMALS not just human ones.

The POMC system was built in animals before the age of mammals 210 million years ago but mammals refined and now define this ancient light system (controls their entire epigenome) and brought it to prominence in their clade when dinosaurs were dying due to an asteroid collision. The change in light frequency from this impact is what sculpted mammals to amplify this POMC system. This system saved mammals once and now it is killing them 65 million years later.
The POMC system in the mammalian skin and fur was key to their survival. From this point in their history, they amplified POMC in all neuroectodermal derivatives and this meant they did not need more genes to advance from an evolutionary perspective as all other animals had in the past. Fast forward 65 million years, and now humans are the trophy "mammal" on Earth. They are at the top of the food chain of all mammals because of how they have used the POMC system to sculpt their neuroectoderm compared to any other member of the family. This idea explains a paradox from the human genome project as well. Scientists were shocked to find humans and primates are almost genetic equivalents. This goes from primitive primates to humans.
