?? Finding Balance Thanks to Web3: A Journey from Mental Breakdown to Resilience ??

Hey there, amazing ladies! ??

I want to start by saying: if you’re reading this, I know you’ve probably experienced the struggles of balancing work, life, and all the responsibilities that come with being a woman in today’s world. I’ve been there – and sometimes, I’m still there. Let me take you through my journey of how I went from being a carefree remote worker, living with my parents and enjoying life, to navigating the beautiful chaos of married life while working remotely for a Web3 startup.

Before I said “YES” to my new life with my partner, I had no responsibilities, no home expenses – heck, my most important decision was which coffee shop to work from that day. My life was simple, free, and filled with adventure. But then, life changed.

1. The Breakdown: Losing My Comfort Zone

Let’s be honest, ladies. The moment you go from living your best single life to settling down with a partner, everything changes. The responsibilities multiply, and somehow, you feel like you’re carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders.

I hit a mental wall. A breakdown, if you will. And it’s real – this feeling of losing your comfort zone and being overwhelmed by the shift. There were moments when I questioned everything, especially balancing work and home life. How do you juggle all of it and not lose yourself? I know some of you reading this know exactly what I mean.

But the truth is, this struggle – this real moment of feeling unbalanced – is something a lot of women go through. Whether you’re a wife, a mother, or both, we often feel like we’re not allowed to feel tired or vulnerable. But let’s be real – it’s okay to admit that sometimes, it feels like too much.

2. Web3: A Blessing in Disguise

Now, here’s where the magic of remote work comes in. Before settling into my new life, I was already working remotely, but once I said "YES" to this new chapter, the flexibility became one of my lifelines. Remote work gave me back precious time – time I didn’t have to spend stuck in traffic, time I could use for myself, my partner, and our home.

Ladies who are working in offices, I know you get me! You’re juggling the 9-to-5 grind, the commute, and the constant pressure to “do it all.” A hybrid work model? A dream. But for those of us lucky enough to be remote, it’s like a breath of fresh air. If I’m being honest, the ability to work from anywhere, on my own time, has been a game-changer. And I know so many of you could benefit from that flexibility.

3. All Rooms Are My Office (But I Do Have A Dedicated One!)

Okay, here’s the funny part – I have a dedicated office room at home, but let’s face it, ladies: all rooms are my office. ?? Whether it’s the kitchen table, the couch, or the actual office room, work is happening everywhere. And honestly, I kind of love it. It’s blurry, it’s chaotic, but it’s also real.

To all the remote-working women out there – I know you’re nodding. The kitchen becomes your meeting room, the bedroom becomes your brainstorming zone, and the living room? Well, that’s where your productivity magic happens. But somehow, we make it work because we have to.

4. On the Right Path – Even If It Feels Slow

Looking back now, I can see the beautiful mess of it all. The breakdowns, the loss of my comfort zone, the changes – they’ve all been part of my growth. The path hasn’t been smooth, but I’m walking it, and I know I’m headed in the right direction. And, if I’m being real with you, I’m still figuring it out – one step at a time. But thanks to Web3 and the freedom of remote work, I’m finding the balance I’ve been craving.

So, here’s to every woman who is working, balancing, and finding herself along the way – whether you’re working remotely or in an office. We are all in this together. It’s a journey, it’s not always easy, but we’re stronger because of it.

And, for the record, I wrote this with a little help from my assistant, the amazing ChatGPT , who’s been an incredible support in putting my thoughts into words. ???
