From Burnout to Balance: The Work Wellness Journey at M/C3
In today's fast-paced world, it's more important than ever to prioritize our #mentalhealth and well-being. At M/C3, we're taking the steps to get in the mindset that taking care of ourselves is crucial for both personal and professional success.
That's why we have been experimenting with several work wellness and mental health practices. From practicing mindfulness and working at a slower pace, to easier and more flexible hours, we're constantly looking for ways to improve our approach to working well.
We have implemented some practices as we are experimenting with #workwellness
Half Day Thursdays to Four-Day Work Week
As we strive for a better work-life balance, we embraced the idea of incorporating more time to ourselves within our weekly routine. Implementing half-day Thursdays is a great step towards achieving this goal, as we're slowly moving towards a four-day work week; it allows us to take an earlier break from the hustle of our workweek, by getting a few more hours to do something you've been wanting to do.
This time can be spent pursuing our passions, practicing mindfulness, or simply enjoying a well-deserved break. By prioritizing our well-being, we become more productive, creative, and fulfilled in both our personal and professional lives.
Work from Home, When Needed
When we have the freedom to choose when we work, we can create a better work-life balance and reduce stress levels. This, in turn, can lead to increased productivity and happiness. We keep it in mind that it's important to remember that the traditional 9-5 workday is not the only way to work. We can be just as productive, if not more so, when we have the flexibility to work when it suits us best. We are learning to embrace this new way of working and reap the benefits that come with it.

Ramadan from Home
Ramadan is a time for reflection, self-improvement, and taking care of our bodies and minds. By working from home this past Ramadan, we had the opportunity to prioritize these needs and create a healthy work-life balance. It allowed us to use this time to take a step back and truly appreciate the beauty of these special days. We were able to be present for ourselves, with our loved ones and focus on our personal growth.
Mothers Self/Days
Mothers are the backbone of our families, and their tireless efforts often go unappreciated. It is important to recognize the importance of their role and support them in any way possible. That is why we offer mothers a working day from home each week and we find it to be truly inspiring. It not only allows them to spend more time with their babies but also gives them some much-needed time for themselves.
Spending Time Together as a Team
As a team, there is nothing more powerful than spending time together. It helps build trust, encourage open communication, and creates a sense of togetherness. When we spend time together, we learn more about each other's strengths and weaknesses, and we can work together to overcome any obstacles. Whether it's a team lunch, a team-building activity, or just spending time in the office, every moment we spend together helps us become stronger and more effective.
Creating a culture of wellness in the workplace not only benefits individuals but also creates a more productive and positive work environment. It is a reminder that taking care of ourselves is not selfish; rather, it is necessary to perform at our best and to create a positive impact on those around us.
