Find Yourself in Service...

It is crazy how God works. A year ago today we were in the middle of some major life & business changes. We knew it was time to get back on the path of 100% truly serving humans and also small business. Our heart has always been for "the little guy" and since the 1st day I started my biz in 2010 (after leaving a 15+ yr corporate career) and wrote the plan on the back of a napkin, I knew my purpose on this planet was to give people a voice! To empower them to share their story and help others do the same. To be the inspiration, the hope, the education they needed to succeed.

Fast forward a year later and not only have we completely streamlined our biz offerings but our social media training & consulting services are now live in the L'Oréal /Redken loyalty catalog this week! We are headed to the huuuge Premier Beauty event this weekend where we will be in the Redken VIP room to consult & network with Redken Elite salons & Loreal team members. I'll be on a Facebook Live with a major Salon media company talking social media for salons & introducing our new academy for L'Oréal /Redken!

So here we are... blessed beyond words to simply truly follow our dream. We get to use our God given talents to serve small business and humans, all while also getting to work in tech, work with larger amazing brands such as L'Oréal. We get to focus on the "little guy & gal." We get to help 150k salon owners & their salon team members dreams come true. It's just a super added benefit I get to learn more about hair & beauty & get pampered at every salon I visit to consult & train! Ha :-)

I could not have orchestrated this life we are living. I'm simply a servant here on this planet wiling to help & empower others!!

When I look in the eyes & hearts of those who attend our classes, workshops & training, or when I get their texts at midnight telling me how happy they are that after my training or after completing one of our online courses they realized they can simply "be themselves" to attract their ideal client, or the texts telling me how booked their calendar is or how they are now invited to be a Redken Artist at only 2 years into a beauty career...or that by spending one day onsite training a multi-location salon team that I saved them TWO YEARS time..... I am reminded that God's plan for our lives is so much bigger than our dreams. His plans are not just about US, about ourselves but instead what we do for others, how we help others achieve their dreams. It is only then when those things align that I truly believe we find ourselves. We then find and live our destiny. 

As I go into this next year and chapter of life I have an open mind. I have an open heart to how God wants me to serve. I have learned the hard way it's far easier when He drives. He has my keys. Now if I can just take my foot off the gas pedal of turbo a least once in awhile I will be just fine! Ha ;)

Life for me is truly about finding myself. So happy I have finally learned it is in Him I find ME.

It is not in chasing fortune or fame. I have made the money, have some fame and I can tell you happiness does not come from either one of those alone. Happiness comes from within, being happy with who you are. Being the best person you can be to your partner, kids, family, friends and community. The first step though is to find yourself... to be yourself and to be all that you can be.

Keep the hope in your heart and seek Him. Seek your destiny. Find Him & you will find yourself. Do not live in the past or dwell on your mistakes. Change your beliefs and shine your goodness on others. The light will always win even in a world that seems filled of darkness. Phil 4:13!

Stay true to who you are, to what your purpose is. So many times we got off track for a big check and payout... always knowing it was not the right path. I knew from day one of being an entrepreneur that my purpose was this. Now if I can simply stay on this beautiful track life will be amazing!
