Find Your Purpose.

Everybody is talking about corporate and business purpose which I truly believe that it is the right path for evolving our corporate life for the better.

Purpose driven corporations have the power to inspire, to bring forces together and to participate in the broader community with respect to the environment and the society.

If we want to talk more practical, purpose driven corporations and especially those that adopt steward ownership as their model of governance, are 6 times more resilient to unexpected crisis and have significant higher employee retention rates.

But what about our own personal purpose?

Money cannot be the case – it might use to be and certainly still is a significant factor, but money alone cannot keep you focused and devoted. We all need a higher value, that keeps us running and pushing for the better. A purpose that can keep our mind active and our ambition alive. After 2 decades I am almost certain that I have identified all those things that bring purpose in what I do and have the power to keep me focused and productive.

-????????????? Creativity. I cannot stand a job that needs repetitive actions. I need new challenges. If it is a failure, it is a lesson – if it is a win, it’s also a lesson for the next one coming. I want to think for new projects, new campaigns, new initiatives.

-????????????? Respect. ?I need to feel that my effort is respected. I am trying hard to pay respect to all that work with me, I expect the same from others.

-????????????? Reward. Let’s be honest. Noone is happy if underpaid. Reward though is not only about salaries and bonuses. It’s about being a member in a company with rewarding mentality and attitude.

-????????????? Clarity. I need to communicate freely and with honesty. You may call it transparency or dignity. I call it clarity. I need to be in a clear environment. I know that this is really hard to have but it is the most significant of all the above for me.

-????????????? Conscious. I cannot work in an unethical corporation. The corporate purpose is of high importance!
