Find your Four Leaf Clover

This title might sounds like, a fairy tale and this really,what it is for me. Since I arrived in Bansko, I found finally peace and personal and professional life balance for.

From December 1st 2019, everything has changed for the best to me, because I really ended up in a place called Four Leaf Clover.

In order to guide you in your quest of happiness, I am pleased to share with you, my experience and what contributes to make my life easier on day to day.

From, the first day I arrived I met so many nice people who helped me a lot and that is something! I could never imagined the life could be so easy.

The second day, because I met a German guy, SEO expert at a curry night, I have been invited to visit an apartment located in Bansko. At the reception, there was Petia who was curious about my french accent and my desire to set up my life here.

Her smile, her english and her experience as former expat in Lebanon and her culture, made me feel comfortable to be a nomad entrepreneur just landed in Bulgaria.

She took the time to show me apartments and the third one, was just fitting perfectly with what I was looking for. A mezzanine, the mountain view and a balcony. I signed up to rent my new home after 30 minutes.

Why I signed up? Because they do their best to make your life easier.

Since that, I have been living independently, I mean with my own kitchen, 2 bathrooms and my 4 Cats and that made me stay. Four Leaf Clover apart hotel, is pet friendly, and if you are searching a place where you can see the cows, sheeps, cats, dogs, turtles, frogs in the field and garden it is ideal. 

Becaus I really wanted a stability, more than a year ago, I got my residence in less than 3 weeks, assisted by a nice lawyer, Elena and George the driver who brought me to Blagoevgrad.

Before living here, I was a bit lost with my business, but my daily experience with the digital nomads, from Israel, Germany, France, UK, Italy has contributed to get more motivation to make things happen and succeed. Why they are so inspiring? Because they are doing what they need to do with a free spirit but attached to values we are all sharing.

Even during the lockdown we have been very supportive each over and managed to watch Case de Papel and cook together. Organizing LIDL trip, making sure you were not feeling lonely...

Before Bansko, I knew, I needed moreconnection with the nature, and 20 minutes walk from FLC I can enjoy a lake, horses riding and access to the Gondola to ski. I even discovered horses assisted coaching, which one of the best thing I ever experienced in my life.

Because I am a bit lazy and I don’t want to overthink, I decided a few years ago that I wanted to do everything by walking. Yes, I don’t have driving licence, sorry I am parisian! 

I love people, I love dancing, I love cooking, I learning new things, Meeting new people, I love speaking foreign languages but because I am entrepreneur, I have to control my time to optimize everything I do. Bansko is the best of big city without traffic or pollution.

The best selling point of FLC, is to have access to service and events almost always on demand.

It is like the Aladdin lamp, but the limits are just your imagination.

Last year, I said, I need an office to start my agency and Petia made my dream come true, so they transformed the former restaurant as a large office.

Between that, nomad friends and I, discussed the idea of making this space, a coworking and they made it, Now people living here have access to 24/ coworking, with a backyard and 2 skype rooms. And I am not mentionning we have a swimming pool and tennis table, please don't your friends it is a secret.

Here on day to day you can connect, with like minded people and doers. I insist when I say doers, because it makes a huge differences to have people who really want to do things.

I remember, when I was living in Montreal or Vancouver it was hard to motivate people for last minute dinner, Yoga... and here, it is so simple.

I wanted to dance salsa, watch movie under the stars, practicing meditation, take painting class, they made it as well with the beautiful energy of committed and talented people living here at FLC. 

Now we are about 25 people, just being happy to coliving without sharing kitchen and bathroom. And to me it fits well, because, I love to be alone sometimes. 

I do believe the real luxury is to have options according your needs to help you grow and becoming a better version of yourself and this what Four Leaf Clover has done for me.
